The Top End Folk Club is one of the oldest folk clubs in Australia. Founded in Darwin in 1971, we’ve been going strong for over 50 years.

We run monthly folk music sessions at the Last Supper on Cavanagh St Darwin, organise opportunities for Territory musicians, and co-host the Top Half Folk Festival bi-annually.

2027 Top Half Folk Festival

The 2027 Top Half Folk Festival will be held at Mt Bundy Station from the 30 July to 2 August over the Picnic Day long weekend. Tickets will be on sale in October. Keep your eye on our socials and the website for festival updates.

The Top End Folk Club aims to promote and pass on knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of traditional and contemporary folk music, song, verse, dancing, craft and lore.
